MSN Login Problem

Hi, 
 
For some time now I have not been able to sign into MSN with Pidgin. I get the following error:
 
Connection error from Notification server.
Connection refused.
 
The password and login are correct, just verified them. I know Microsoft is trying to force people to use Skype. Is SMN not longer supported by Pidgin?
