Pidgin 2.10.9 fixes logins to some XMPP servers. Please upgrade! 
Is it a joke ? :-) 

Pidgin 2.10.8 connect very well on our XMPP server. 
but 
Pidgin 2.10.9 can't connect. 
Be back in 2.10.8
