Connection issue

Hello guys,

I use Pidgin 2.10.7 (libpurple 2.10.7) on my win7 x64 laptop; plugins used are
Off-The-Record Messaging 4.0.0. and Psychic mode 2.10.7.

I connect to the gmail.com and chat.facebook.com acounts without any
problems at home through my router, all working fine.

At work it keeps connecting but it never connects, and ends up with
"unable to connect". Our local IT guy here doesnt know exactly whats
behind. We tried to change the port from 5222 to 433 or 80, swith
on/off to old style SSL but it
dosnt help.

Any ideas about possible solutions or directions? I wen through many
forums but didnt find solution.

#with the gmail.com it is the same issue
