You can't connect to Pidgin.  You use Pidgin to connect to something. 
Normally when such questions come from Oracle email addresses, that 
something is a server run by Oracle.  People on this public mailing list 
know nothing about that server.  You need to contact Oracle's IT department.

Please explain to them why you went here first and suggest ways they can 
avoid other people doing the same, in future.
