Facebook connectivity

For the past few days, I have been unable to connect to Facebook, the error message is that the certificate is invalid.  the following is the relevant info from the log:

Is this a Pidgin issue, or a Facebook issue?  If it’s a Pidgin issue, is there something I can do to resolve this?
