Spell check not installed/Dictionary not available

Greetings,

I recently reinstalled Pidign and during the installation process, the
spell check could not be automatically installed. There were instructions
to manually download the dictionaries from the Open Office extension page
but there is no dictionary for UK English. Is there a solution to this?
