Microsoft Remote Desktop App via iPad 2

I'm not sure if you're aware of this issue, but when you're using the
Microsoft Remote Desktop App via iPad you cannot type in the Pidgin
messenger. It's not a huge issue, but it is kind of a nuissance. I was
hoping someone would be able to fix that. Please let me know.
