how can I keep a recurring group chat?

I am running an AIM protocol through pidgin. At one point in time, I was able to create a group chat that was always “live”, for lack of a more technical word. I somehow lost that chat when trying to replace an employee’s handle who left the company with her replacement.  Now I find myself having to manually invite people to join chats, which is annoying.

I would appreciate any help that could be given to me. Screenshots would be great.
