You can create your own (see e.g. https://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/SmileyThemes ) or to use already existing ones (see e.g. https://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/ThirdPartySmileyThemes or http://www.pidginthemes.com/smilies/ ).

You can also add new smileys by using "Tools" → "Custom Smileys".
