Login problem

Pidgin is simply a client and passes your authentication details to the 
server you specify using the protocol you specify.  It is that server, 
which is rejecting your login.

Make sure you have specified the correct server and protocol, for the 
service you intend to use, then contact the people who operate that 
server about your account authentication.
