Problem re-enabling my account

Hi!  I cannot Re-enable my account.  It says /disabled after my address.  When I click on "modify account" my account information is still there, but when I go to Accounts-Enable Account, and click on my account the disabled message reappears at the bottom. I have tried to re-enable in many different ways, but can't.  Any ideas?
