 IMAPS clients will complain if the cert is not for the same domainname as
 the host it is connecting to.  As I did not set up a mail.pidgin.im alias,
 I do not think that reusing the cert for https and imaps on pidgin.im
 (versus developer.pidgin.im) will be a problem.

 I suspect but do not know that the same will be true of the jabber server
 at pidgin.im
