 The old SF page is now redirecting to pidgin.im, but that breaks release
 notification plugin.

 Friend of mine queried whether pidgin 302 was out yet.

 (As I just saw in KingAnt's mail on this.. more correctly the 'new'
 version is 'HTTP/1.1 302 Found')

 Ideally, the release notification plugin should also handle unexpected
 responses such as this.
