 It would be very useful, if you could remove someone from your buddy list
 and still remember their Alias. The next time you chat, their Alias would
 show up as normal. I keep many people on my BL just to have their name
 when they IM me, but I never talk to them.

 This could be an option when you delete someone, to remember their Alias.
