 There are quite a few Instant messaging clients which allow you to search
 through all the logs. So, how about adding in this feature into the next
 release of Pidgin? =)

 Of course, I could search through the logs using the various search
 options in Ubuntu but this is a feature that really should be integrated
 into Pidgin.

 When searching through all the logs, results should be sorted by date and
 nickname or nickname and then, date. And instead of how the "find" feature
 works for each username, only the lines that contain the hits ought to be
 shown.

 I'll attach a screenshot of how it could look like. Well, I did the whole
 thing in text to preserve neatness.
