 I have a MSN account that I use with pidgin/gaim (latest version).

 I noticed that on a fresh install, pidgin/gaim is not showing avatars of
 contacts using MSN LIVE messenger.
 All buddy icons of contacts using older MSN messenger versions are showing
 correctly.

 Same behaviour on Windows and Linux versions.
