 My System:

 IBM Lenovo T60
 XP SP2 in German
 Installed Clients: Gaim 1.5.0 / gain 1.5.0-Debug

 Crash symptom:
 When starting Gaim the progress bar shows correctly that account Details
 from my MSN or Yahoo accounts are being received.
 The as soon it shows "receiving cookie" the WIndow Crash pop up comes up
 and asks me to report the problem to MS.

 Following your little manual on my system was just 1 zlib.dll not in the
 MS System or System32 Folder but inside the IBM recover utility folder. To
 be sure I did rename it and started Gaim again -> with the same result.

 Attached you will find the gaim.RPT for you analysis.

 I`m keen to get it working as I don`t like all this pop up crap and
 animation hell while using the real MSN and Yahoo messenger....
