 one nice feature of gaim is that if you have a conversation window up you
 can see from the color of the taskbar icon if the buddy is online or not.

 however this only seems to apply to taskbar icons that are copied from the
 status icon not those that are created from downscaling the persons buddy
 icon, i would therefore like to request that such icons also get the
 greyscale treatment when a contact is offline.
