Summary: MSN chat hard to figure out
Initial Comment:
As I never used Microsoft's MSN client it was quite
hard for me to figure out, that MSN supports multi-user
conversations. Learned about it by getting invited. Had
to visit Gaim's IRC channel to learn how to create a
MSN chat, as the FAQ entry made no sense for me: Did
not know, that talking with some buddy and creating a
MSN chat are to different things, so I thought click
"Initiate Chat" means "Create some private conversation
with your Buddy".
Maybe it would be benifential to add an "Invite" entry
to the window of private MSN conversations. This
"Invite" entry would convert the current conversation
into some MSN chat - or if that is not possible it
would execute the "Initiate Chat" action. After that it
would allow to invite a third person.

We intend to fix this at some point... I volunteered to do it, but I
just haven't had the time yet. I don't know when this will be
supported in a proper fashion, as it involves significant code
changes.

I had a similar experience. Still, I do not think this is a
prio 5 item.
