 I believe we pulled the project name out of all the window titles a while
 back, I know we did so for the conversation windows I forget if we did so
 for
 the buddy list. I for one think that was a good thing to do, the branding
 just
 takes up space and annoys me. I hate it that IE and Firefox do that sort
 of
 thing.

 Likewise, while I think putting the current status name in the tooltip for
 the
 tray icon might be nice I don't think putting the name of the application
 there is necessary. But I care less about that, and I think having the app
 name there is probably rather standard (though I don't really have a tray
 or
 use any applications with tray icons other than pidgin).
