 You are correct.  But here's what happens:

 1. Turn on Evolution-Integration-Plugin when using an exchange account on
 Evolution.
 2. Gaim crashes.
 3. 10 seconds or so later, Evolution loses connection to the Exchange
 backend.

 I don't know but Gaim doesn't give me the option for a backtrace (at least
 on Fedora 6) so I don't know.  But I know if I turn off the plugin, the
 problem goes away completely , so it's probably something that the 2 teams
 should work together on.

 I would think the 2 teams are already working together since there is the
 existence of this type of Evolution Integration plugin in the first place.
