 If you have the buddy on multiple protocols why do you care which he
 messaged you on *right now* if you know he has an ICQ account and need to
 send him a file you can send directly to his ICQ account regardless of
 what he messaged you on. Similarly, you can message a specific account
 directly without knowing what account he messaged you from in the first
 place.

 Most IM clients are single protocol, so they don't need to deal with this,
 and the fact that you don't understand the change doesn't make it bad,
 it's been explained, you haven't given any real reasons that you need to
 know while looking at the buddy list, and given that you have been
 insulting and overwritten pages on the wiki I'm not exactly inclined to
 give you much attention at the moment.
