 Yes, it is some Google Talk buddies and some Aim Buddies. (i added myself
 to both as a test and i know mine gets cut off, but some longer message
 appear just fine. I don't think its client related either)

 What do you mean by tooltip? The yellow box that comes up when you hover
 over a name is what i'm referring to.

 I'm only running Windows, sorry.
