 Are the truncated messages all very long, or relatively longer than other
 messages which are not truncated?

 I am not seeing this here, so I'm not sure what to tell you.  Can you get
 the debug output (copy and paste from Help | Debug Window) for a run or
 two, and attach it to this bug?
