 You are using beta7, right (previous versions used `GAIMHOME`)?

 Also, you should set it to `I:\Pidgin` (no trailing '\').

 If this doesn't work, check out the debug output for exactly what is being
 used (`pidgin -n -d`) (-n prevents autologin to reduce the irrelevant
 information in the log).
