 Etan,

 While there's much to be said for "if it ain't broken, don't fix it," you
 tend to take that philosophy to an extreme.

 While it's true that 'screen name' is good enough, and has served us
 faithfully for many years, it's hard to claim that prpl-specific names
 would better.

 This ticket is targetted for 2.2.0, which is the earliest we could add API
 to have the protocol specify what it wants this to be called.
