 When I go to status > new from the selector, it keeps the old global text
 and I can edit it, but if I want to edit the status message of a non-
 global account, double clicking on the account clears the status, as does
 unchecking and rechecking it

 As deryni so concisely stated, "You can't get the per-account dialogs to
 come up with the existing message, only with a blank box?" (thanks deryni
 ;))
