 Using 2.1.0

I have a new twist on this bug. I had a buddy go invisible, I was then
prompted to use the buddy pounce feature. I clicked yes. Then the buddy
messaged me and we were able to message back and forth. When the buddy
signed on the next day all the messages that had been sent by me (and
successfully received by the buddy) were sent again.

Is it the case that if I hadn't agreed to the buddy pounce feature the
message would have been sent and received as normal?

Just to get my 2 cents in, i think invisible detection would be a nice
feature. Pidgin should notice if you are receiving messages from a user
 that it thinks is offline.

My guess is that the real fix for this bug is to support aim's built in
 offline messaging feature.

Are there similar problems with yahoo's invisible and offline messaging?
