 I have also been getting these segmentation faults when trying to get
 buddy info from my finch buddy list.  I only use finch with AIM; I do not
 know if this is a problem on other messenger clients.  Furthermore, I have
 also published a backtrace at the following URL:

 My backtrace was generated on a 64-bit machine so the memory references
 are a bit massive.  Also, as an update to the original post, my test is
 using Finch 2.1.0 and not 2.0.2 as the ticket suggests.

 The segfaults only occur sporadically when requesting buddy information,
 and not every time, however, it is quite annoying when it happens.  I hope
 I have provided enough information to assist anyone trying to fix this
 issue.
