 The old "Show Buddy Details" layout was a lot better as far as keeping the
 Pidgin window to a small, manageable size whereby it placed the Buddy pic
 on the LHS of the chat entry window.  The issue with this new "Show Buddy
 Details" configuration is that it leaves you with a huge amount of wasted
 screen space, making the Pidgin IM chat window a lot bigger than it was
 before - one of the things I loved about Pidgin was its careful use of
 real estate.

 Right now, you either have Buddy Details and a lot of wasted screen real
 estate or you have to disable it completely - there's no way to go back to
 how the Buddy Details were displayed in earlier Pidgin versions, which was
 a much more screen-space friendly way to displpay Buddy Details.

 This is a disappointing feature change.
