 I'm not sure what you mean  here... Server-side contact list handling
 works fine with Google Talk in Pidgin's current implementation of the XMPP
 protocol. The only thing that the Google Talk option in the protocol list
 does is fill in the server and connect server so the user doesn't have to.
 That's not working right, so I'm simply reporting a UI bug. I'm not trying
 to open a discussion about handling of various XMPP services in Pidgin...
 that's what my other ticket was for.
