 In MSN chatting my partner's message contains an smiley icon/image that I
 want to save. The first attempt failed with a message (unrecognized image
 type, default is PNG), no image is saved. A second attempt will
 immediately bring pidgin down (crash dialog shown). It happens in both
 2.1.0 and 2.1.1.
