Comment:

 It isn't correct that a single conversation has no theme, it is just that
 Windows renders tabbed windows differently than non-tabbed windows.  You
 can see this in native applications as well if you compare a tabbed window
 to a non-tabbed window.

 Previously we put single conversations in tabs, but this changed in 2.1.1
 - we don't put the conversation in a tabbed window unless there is more
 than one.  This has been a somewhat contentious change (not for this
 reason - the fact that Windows renders tabbed) and we've been discussing
 it on the development mailing list.

 I'm going to mark this as a duplicate of #2707, because that is the same
 underlying issue.
