 It would appear so, I tried uninstalling it and it appeared to work and
 then I couldn't re-install it so I tried to remove the left-over files but
 it was giving me odd errors (something about the drive not being
 formatted). So I ran a checkdisk and it found errors which it repaired and
 then pidgin worked since the removal of aspell (I reinstalled aspell with
 no problem and its functional now).
