 Using Pidgin 2.1.1 under Win98, with GTK+ 2.5.10 rev A from the SF project
 page (though this started to happen under Pidgin 2.1.0).  Not sure if it's
 just this system.

 I've experienced consistent crashes under Pidgin 2.1.1 and 2.1.0 if I try
 to call up the Preferences - Pidgin closes with an invalid page fault in
 libglib-2.0-0.dll.  It *may* also crash if I try to change status using
 the status dropdown, view logs or a contact's details (in more detail),
 but I can't get those to happen consistently.  When they do happen, they
 also seem to generate the same pagefaults.

 Also, I generally haven't had any sound on either 2.1.1 or 2.1.0.  I've
 tried completely uninstalling Pidgin and GTK+, removing all traces of them
 from the system, and reinstalling, starting over with a new set of
 preferences and re-entering all my accounts.  But the above crashes
 continued to happen.

 Is this possibly a problem with the version of GTK+ for Win9X/ME on the SF
 project page?
