 Please reopen this bug. It is not duplicate of 1989, rather 1989 is
 duplicate of this. These tracebacks is obtained w/o any python bindings -
 we finally dropped these bindings and curretnly working in plain C. And
 valgrind output is more than convinceable - it is clearly shows how
 exactly this bug is triggered. Even if this "works for you" - it doesn't
 mean that there is no bug. BTW - proper component is 'libgaim', not
 'pidgin (gtk)'.
