Comment:

 This isn't correct and will cause user crying because it'll cause the
 flashing to stop when any Pidgin window is focused (not just the
 particular window).

 The FLASHW_TIMER flag already tells the window to keep flashing until we
 stop it.  The desired behavior (Flash 3 times and then stay highlighted)
 is exactly what happens to me already.  For some unknown reason, (and only
 under some unknown configuration), the window must be receiving a focus
 event from GTK+, causing it stop flashing - since you are apparently
 experiencing this, I suggest that you investigate what is causing this
 since that will be the key to fixing the bug.
