 From the first link:

 Has an effect in

  * Mozilla Firefox (all versions since 1.0)
  * SeaMonkey (all versions)

 Note the conspicuous absence of mozilla or the Mozilla Suite.

 This preference setting does not exist in mozilla, and when added, has no
 effect.
