 Building my own development releases, code is straight from the monotone
 repo, HEAD.

 In the recent code, a weird bug emerged concerning the items in the Buddy
 List. No matter if the buddy was online, away, or in any particular
 status, clicking on them will cause their entry to disappear on the list.

 This doesn't happen if I have Pidgin set to show offline buddies.

 I noticed this starting on 28 August 2007, but it is possible it was
 occurring before then and I just hadn't noticed. It does seem to be
 aligned with the changes to make the show submenu and the protocol icons
 option.
