 I prefer scaling the icons myself then.
 The reason for using GtkStatusIcon and not going "os level" is to make it
 possible to use the same status icon code on all platforms. This interface
 should be portable.

 I've been busy at work the last two days but I hope I will finish this up
 during saturday.
