 Well did you try adding a buddy to your contact list in Pidgin after that?
 That's when I got the "Unable to Add" errors. Also restart Pidgin and see
 if the buddy is still there.

 I guess it woudn't make a difference if you disabled the "Enable server-
 side contact lists" checkbox first in Miranda?

 I'm glad you are taking the time to try to reproduce the problem but
 Pidgin seems to work fine for me now so if you can't find a problem I
 guess we'll have to wait and see if anybody else comes logging a problem
 here.
