 On Windows (XP SP2 is what I use), after an incoming message the taskbar
 button starts flashing and the tray icon changes, all behaving as it
 should. And after the taskbar button flashed three times, all is still
 well and it remains in the "flashed" state (lighted up).

 But on a particular (I think it was an incoming message), the taskbar
 button goes out of it's state and returns back to normal. However, the
 tray icon still remains in changed state. All this happened while I didn't
 change the focus of any Window, and neither did software on my computer.
