 Pidgin 2.1.1 crashed (it crashes much more frequently than the previous
 version) and accounts.xml got corrupted (it's no longer valid XML).

 When I restart Pidgin, it acts as if there were no PURPLEHOME directory:
 it asks the user to setup account. This mislead me into investigations
 about why it couldn't read %PURPLEHOME%, when in fact the ENV var was set
 correctly, and only accounts.xml had some junk in it. An XML parsing error
 would help.
