 I have read several closed bug reports, which seem to have a biased
 opinion that JSPager is a hack. It is not. It has been around for years,
 and it is stable software that many people still use and depend on.

 The bottom line: Pidgin becomes unstable when it is running, and Pidgin
 needs to be fixed and/or more robust. This may not be a high priority
 defect, but it is still a defect.
