 I am having a slight problem with Pidgin 2.3.0.  Every time I try to get
 it to start up it will crash.  It is automatically setup to startup and
 connect when I start up Pidgin.  The "BUDDY LIST BOX" pops up but then it
 says in the task bar in the lower right section of Windows XP that it is
 connecting.  When it gets to the connecting part a Windows error comes up
 saying "PIDGIN HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE. WE ARE SORRY
 FOR THE INCONVENIENCE".

 The error signature is

 I click on DON'T SEND and the program clears out of the task bar.

 I have the latest windows updates and not sure what the problem is or how
 to fix it.  Any ideas?
