 I would like to be able to have a buddyicon set with a relative path,
 because I am moving around my .purple-directory between computers
 and USB drives (which end up being mounted with different drive
 letters on windows machines). I tried writing just the name of the icon
 file in the prefs.xml, Pidgin then looks for this file in current
 working directory, so I could do a cd ~/.purple and start Pidgin from
 there, but it's not as easy in windows.

 I think Pidgin should look in the config directory for buddy icon
 files (if the path does not begin with a slash or drive letter...)
