 Hey guys, I have a Dell m1210 and a common defect in this laptop with the
 combination of a Dell 1500 Draft WLAN card is that the audio crackles and
 makes other popping sounds. I found on a forum that a working solution is
 to download the new driver for this card then disable the 802.11a band. So
 I installed the driver and restarted and "Pidgin has stopped working".
 I'm running Vista and I re-installed 2.3.0, same problem.
 Downloaded the Debug version to get the file after it crashes, but no file
 shows up...

 Any help?
 Oh and I did disable the A-band and the sound problem really is fixed. I
 don't think this has anything to do with Pidgin crashing, but just in
 case...
