 I typically troll the Timeline view and I'm amazed at how many tickets
 have been filed around the recent "MSN alias" issue!

 A suggestion: at the top of the page for a New Ticket, in the red box
 area, maybe add a line (and/or link) suggesting to first search all
 tickets to see if the issues has already been logged (and perhaps fixed).

 Maybe the link to the search page could be to a different search page
 which only searches tickets - to make it quicker/focussed for the user to
 realise the multitude of tickets already submitted.

 Just my two cents to reduce the traffic.
