 The MSN people often use various types of "bling" in their messages. They
 create these shortcut tings, so that (as an example) typing an "i" in a
 message will actually show a flaming candle or something. Now if I chat
 with an MSN contact who has configured a number of these shortcuts and I,
 in pidgin, assign him an alias with one of his own shortcuts occurring in
 that alias, the icon/animation will actually be shown as part of the
 nickname. I don't believe that this is intended. It's basically a privacy
 thing too, since I can probably trigger a complete leeching of all his
 icons by changing the alias in a few careful ways...
