 I am using Pidgin 2.3.0 on Windows XP.
 When chatting on MSN my sent messages are not prefixed by my user name .
 Instead the name seem to be picked semi-randomly from users in my
 contacts.

 If I set a value for "Local alias" in the "Edit Account" dialog the local
 alias will be used.
